The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced that the 2024 inter-institution transfer application is now open.
In a statement on Wednesday, KUCCPS directed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) students placed in universities and colleges last month (May 2024) who wish to change institutions to apply via http://students.kuccps.net.
KUCCPS in its announcement stated that the process will also allow change of courses subject to applicants meeting applicable the cut-off points.
Applicants will have 30 days to make their preferred changes after which the portal shall be closed on July 4, 2024.
For one to be eligible for transfer, the applicant must have been placed in the program they are seeking a transfer from.
The announcement by KUCCPS comes a day after the National Assembly Education committee directed the Ministry of Education to withdraw all university admission letters.
