The Director for Field Coordination and Co-curricular Activities Mr. Nelson Sifuna asked sports fans and the general public to show up in large numbers to watch special needs learners showcase their sporting prowess.

He said the sporting activities will include among others rugby under 15s, Athletics, Basketball, Hockey, Handball, Cross Country and swimming.

The sporting event will attract learners with various impairments such as physical and mental impairments, visual and hearing and those living with autism.

The special school’s sports will be held concurrently with regular sports to take place in different regions of the country.

Regular sports for primary schools will be held in Nyeri County, secondary sports in Machakos County, while Embu will host Drama and Film Festivals during the same period.
