Attorney General Justin Muturi has issued a stern call to action, urging Kenyan citizens to exercise utmost caution while navigating the nation’s roads.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony at the St John’s Apostle College in Kanyuambora, Embu County, the Attorney General emphasized the need for heightened vigilance among all road users, including motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists.

He underscored the importance of adhering to traffic regulations, maintaining vehicles in optimal condition, and avoiding reckless behaviors that endanger lives.

Attorney General Muturi expressed deep concern over the tragic loss of lives and the devastating impact these accidents have on families and communities across Kenya.

He highlighted the urgency of implementing comprehensive measures to address the root causes of road accidents, including inadequate infrastructure, speeding, drunk driving, and non-compliance with traffic laws.

Furthermore, Attorney General Muturi addressed inquiries regarding his absence from public gatherings concerning political matters.

He clarified that while he remains committed to serving the nation and upholding the rule of law, his primary focus is on addressing pressing legal issues and promoting initiatives aimed at safeguarding the welfare of all Kenyan citizens.

As the nation grapples with the challenge of road safety, Attorney General Muturi urged collaboration among government agencies, law enforcement authorities, civil society organizations, and the public to enact effective strategies for reducing road accidents and saving lives.
