Top achievers during the 2023/24 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season will be awarded on Friday.
Awards will be issued in a total of eight categories which include Player of the year which will be awarded to the most valuable player of the campaign, ,golden glove which will be given to the goalkeeper with least number of conceded goals.
Other categories include golden boot whose winner is Goer Mahia forward Benson Omalla who scored a total of 16 goals,the coach of the year award usually handed to the title winning coach is poised to be received by former Gor Mahia head coach Jonathan Mackinistry.
Outstanding performers will also be recognized as : Referee of the Year, Fair Play Award,President’s Award and Social Media Manager of the Year.
Gor Mahia won their 21st league title while Tusker and Kenya Police were ranked in second and third positions respectively.
Nzoia Sugar and Muhoroni Youth were relegated and will now ply their trade in lower tier 2024/25 season.
