The KHF Secretary General Mr. Warigi Mungai commended Alex Maina for his collaborative efforts in ensuring the realization of the project saying this will have an impact not only on handball but also other grassroots sports including soccer.

Maina commended the KHF leadership for their outstanding stewardship and encouraged them to work and collaborate with Nakuru County Sports Council for the development and growth of sports in the county.

The coach noted that astute sports people are celebrated by the world irrespective of their tribe, country or continent of origin since their achievements are considered an achievement for humanity.

He noted with pride the achievements of local sports persons and how it has contributed in advertising the country worldwide, and urged all countries to put up sports stadia to promote sports activities.
