Kabras Sugar successfully defended their Enterprise cup after beating KCB rfc  32-20 in the final played  Saturday at the RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi to win their 4th straight title.

KCB went into the match with confidence looking for their sixth title and a first since 2017 after thrashing Kenya Harlequin 32-18 in the semifinal at KCB Sports Club. Kabras, eyeing to retain the title since 2019, thrashed Nondescripts 54-8 in their semifinal and were not  ready to let go the title they’ve held for five years.

Kabras took an early 7-0 lead in the game before KCB earned a penalty to reduce the deficit. Kabras would however go into the break leading 13-6 before dominating the second half to eventually win 32-20. The two sides have been meeting in the final since 2017 when the bankers won the title with a score of  27-23 .

Kabras would then win the 2022 final 9-6 before registering a 30-27 victory in 2023.

Meanwhile KCB RFC assistant Coach Andrew Amonde has expressed his confidence in the team despite the loss.

“The boys gave their all in this match and I am proud of them all despite the final result. They are still young boys, they are learning and building moment so, we can only be proud of them. This team will achieve great things in the years to come,” noted Amonde.Hey
