The Government has put in place a multi-agency team of officials to ensure the integrity of the 2023 National examinations is upheld.
The multi-agency team comprising of officers from the Education Ministry, Teachers Service Commission (TSC) ICT and Interior Ministries, and the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) have been tasked to ensure that the formidable system put in place to curb cheating cannot be breached.
Speaking after Presiding over the 2023 examinations monitoring for KCPE/KPSEA examinations at St George’s Primary School on Monday, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi said the government, through a multi-agency team spearheaded by the Ministry of Education, is working tirelessly to ensure the integrity of the 2023 KCSE, KCPE and KPSEA examinations is upheld.
“The future of the candidates sitting for these exams calls for close partnerships within key sectors of education to ensure seamless flow throughout the examination period,” said Mr. Mudavadi.
The Prime CS lauded the Ministry of Education in the efforts towards delivery and administration of the exams countrywide.
He exuded optimism in the management of the CBC and the future of education in the country.
PCS Mudavadi wished all the candidates sitting for the exams across their very best in their national examinations.
“I wish all the candidates across the country the very best in the exams!”
A total of 1,202,574 candidates are sitting for KPSEA and 1,415,315 are sitting for KCPE.
