Prime CS arrives in Italy ahead of G7 Summit

Kenya will advocate for Africa’s commitment to a fairer international financial system at the 50th G7 Summit in Borgo-Egnazia, Apulia.

This as well as a more representative multilateral system, and the importance of addressing key global challenges.

Kenya will also lobby for financial and policy support for its transformative development agenda.

Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs Musalia Mudavadi arrived in Brindisi, Italy, Thursday, ahead of the Summit.

The Prime CS is leading the advance delegation awaiting President William Ruto’s arrival to the summit in Apulia which provides an opportunity for the G7 leaders and other invited representatives to demonstrate their determination to uphold the international order based on the rule of law and to strengthen their engagement with developing countries.
