President William Ruto held talks with his Central African Republic counterpart on Monday on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in Dubai.
The talks, held at the the Habtoor Palace, focused on strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Ruto highlighted the vast opportunities for trade and investment that exist between Kenya and the Central African Republic.
“There are many opportunities for trade and investments. Our two countries are blessed with enormous natural resources, and we endeavour to partner in agriculture, mining, and regional security,” said Ruto.
“Held talks with H.E. Faustin-Archange Touadéra, President of Central African Republic, at the Habtoor Palace, Dubai, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit.”
President Ruto is among the more than 25 heads of state and government attending the summit which is being held under the theme, ‘Shaping Future Governments’.
The event will focus on six topics, including Government Acceleration and Transformation, Artificial Intelligence and The Next Frontiers, Reimagining Development and Future Economies and Future Societies and Education.
Other topics are Sustainability and The New Global Shifts and Urbanisation and Global Health Priorities.
